History
Growing up in Southern Arizona, my family’s activities revolved around all Arizona hunting seasons, to include quail. We had German shorthaired pointing dogs for nearly my entire childhood and spent many days in the field with them chasing birds. My Dad instilled a love for these dogs, and their training, that I never lost. Today, I enjoy

We had German shorthaired pointing dogs for nearly my entire childhood and spent many days in the field with them chasing birds. My Dad instilled a love for these dogs, and their training, that I never lost. Today, I enjoy watching them do what they love for me, my clients and my friends and family.

Along with being a proud U.S. Army veteran, I have worked as a firefighter/paramedic for the past 25 years, currently holding the rank of Division Chief. Approaching retirement, I have decided to pursue my passion for hunting by establishing Ridgeline Pursuit Guide Service (RPGS). Our mission is to provide a stress free, enjoyable, quail hunting experience behind highly trained pointing dogs.

Our dogs are family. They're not just a part of the business. We love bird dogs, we love training and we absolutely love watching them do what they were born to do. Seeing the excitement and joy in our dogs when they are hunting is what we live for. If you love dogs as much as we do, come out and hunt with us!
Ridgeline Pursuit's "Indy" 500
Indy is a 6-year-old black and roan GSP, AKC, with champion bloodlines. She ranges incredibly far and will cover a vast amount of steep territory for the client in search of birds. Indy has a great nose and is steady to wing and shot. She is high energy, honors other dog’s points and lives to hunt.
Ridgeline Pursuit's Demolitionist, "Demo"
Demo is a 5 year old white & liver patched GSP, AKC, with champion bloodlines. He is steady to wing and shot and will honor other dog’s points. Demo is our little tank and will hunt hard through any terrain for upwards of 30 miles. It's easy to see Demo's excitement in hunting due to his uncontrolled shaking when he's on point.
Ridgeline Pursuit's Hank's Rowdy Friend, "Hank"
Hank is our newest member. Hank is 1 year and comes to us by way of California. Hank's parents are both unbelievable hunters and he has many Prairie Wind Kennel grandparents and great grandparents. All of Hank's training will be documented on our YouTube, Rumble & Instagram channels.
